Jake Kring-Schreifels
Jake Kring-Schreifels is a contributing sports and culture reporter covering a mix of movies, television, music, and general nostalgia. After a childhood spent in both Seattle and Philadelphia, he attended Fordham University, where he holds a bachelor's degree in Communications and Media Studies. Over the last decade, Jake has written and edited for digital and print publications including The Ringer, The Washington Post, and Yankees Magazine. His work has also been featured in The New York Times, Front Office Sports, Me's Health and many other fine sports and entertainment outlets. Jake is an avid baseball fan and has visited 25 of 30 Major League stadiums (and about half of the NFL's venues). When he's not writing or editing, he's watching the Phillies, playing in a softball league, enjoying golf on weekends, and participating in the dying art of seeing a movie in a theater.
